La Société Royal Canin is a French manufacturer and worldwide supplier of extremely high quality, specialized dog and cat foods. Founded in 1967 in the small village of Gard, France, its headquarters are now located in Aimargues, France.
The company maintains a presence in cities in several other nations around the world, including in Johannesburg, South Africa; Rolla, Missouri, USA; Descalvado, Brazil; Buenos Aires, Argentina; Moscow, Russia; and Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The company are most widely known for researching the clinical formulation of, testing, manufacturing and marketing a wide range of breed-specific diets for canines and felines.
