Runestone Öl 28

The Runestone Öl 28 is a runestone of limestone at the church of Gårdby, in Öland, Sweden. It is raised by a lady named Herthrude after her son Smiðr. She also dedicates it to a second son who had a position in Gardariki (Russia).

There are two transcriptions of the runes:
- Hærþruðr ræisti stæin þennsa æftiR sun sinn Smið, dræng goðan. Halfborinn, broðiR hans, sitr Garðum. Brandr rett hiogg, þy raða kann.
- Hærþruðr ræisti stæin þennsa æftiR sun sinn Smið, dræng goðan. Halfborinn, broðiR hans, sitr Garðum Brandr. Rett [i] hiogg, þy raða kann.
