Ryan Mauro

Ryan Mauro was hired by Tactical Defense Concepts, a maritime security group, in December of 2002 as a geopolitical analyst at the age of 16, making him one of the youngest (if not THE youngest) geopolitical analysts in the world.

Ryan was born on July 2, 1986, the second son in his family. He began his interest in geo-political events and analysis at the phenomenal age of 11. He lives today in New Jersey.

In July 2003, he founded his own web site to publish his writings and interesting articles at WorldThreats.com.

At age 17, in the fall of 2003, he joined the Northeast Intelligence Network as a volunteer analyst, working alongside other civilian volunteers who track radical Islamic activity on the Internet and investigate potential terrorism-related activity. Mauro also helped edit a book published in Finland entitled "The Forgotten Minorities of Eastern Europe."

Mr. Mauro has been widely published, including in FrontPagePag.com, WorldNetDaily.com, GlobalPolitician.com, and Newsmax.com, among others. He is also listed as a writer for the Canadian Free Press.

Mr. Mauro has also frequently appears on radio shows including The Al Franken Show on the left and Dennis Prager Show on the right.

Mr. Mauro has broken several important stories, including an interview with General Ali Ibrahim al-Tikriti, who claims to be a former high-ranking Iraqi general where he claimed he had sources inside Iraq confirming the shipment of weapons of mass destruction to Syria; an interview with Hamid Mir, the only journalist to interview Osama Bin Laden after 9/11, about Al-Qaeda's pursuit of nuclear weapons and involvement with Iran; and an interview with David Gaubatz, a former federal agent who claims his information about WMD sites in Iraq and other issues was mishandled. Mauro also often adds tips from his sources and analysis of current events in his "Monthly Analysis" report and in his newsletter.

In 2003, Mr. Mauro's interview of Middle East authority Dr. Mohamed Ibn Guadi was published on MILNET.com and FrontPage Magazine This led to his becoming a featured writer on the MILNET website which expanded into a major, featured section there (Geo-Political Analysis).

In 2004, Ryan Mauro was signed to the William Morris Talent Agency, and the next year the option to his life rights was purchased by the Bunim-Murray Production Company for a feature film.

In October of 2005, at age 19, Ryan Mauro had his first book published, Death to America: The Unreported Battle of Iraq which chronicles open-source reports about possible WMD development and sponsorship of terrorism by Saddam Hussein. The book also focuses on the growth of the insurgency and the contributions to it by Iran, Syria and other states, and discusses speculation indicating that nations like France, Germany and Russia that opposed the war were bribed by Iraq's Saddam Hussein or his minions.

Mr. Mauro has also done volunteer research work for the Reform Party of Syria since 2005.

In 2006 and 2007 Mauro was asked to speak about Iraq at the International Intelligence Summit in Washington, D.C.

Mr. Mauro is quite visible on occasion, having stood up with a protestor's crowd in front of the New York Times editorial offices asking for Editorial Responsibility from the sometimes controverial Editorial Staff of that famous newspaper.

In 2007, he became a blogger for Oval Office 2008 [1], a website that follows the 2008 presidential race in the United States.
