Ryan McCartney was born in mid-1989, in Phoenix, Arizona. He is a developing musician, hoping to form a band where he now lives, in Surprise, Arizona.
He was into country for much of his younger years of life, then converting into rock music by age 11. He started out with early stuff, such as the Beatles (one that still remains one of his all-time favorite bands), then turning to harder rock, such as AC/DC, and then to Papa Roach type music of today.
He started on the bass guitar at age 14. He was teaching himself out of a self-instruction book. When he was 15, he started with the 6-string. He particularly has fun simply strumming chords. His current guitar collection includes; an Ibanez Ergodyne bass, First Act bass (on which he learned bass), Fender Starcaster (on which he learned guitar), a Gibson SG, a Fender acoustic 12-string, and a Jay Turser violin bass (replica of the Hofner 500/1 made famous by Paul McCartney, his idol).
He is now working on his first album, Blood, Bone, and Injustice, although he is hoping for a band for assistance. He has as many as 5 lyrics written, and is playing around with musical ideas. The title came up by accident; he was at work one day when the title just came into his head. He immediately found meaning for it, relating it to the common life of teenagers with no hope for a bright future.
He now spends most of his leisure time on the Paradise City Messageboard (link: http://www.rocknrollforum.proboards49.com), where he is part of the staff. He has gone through as many as 3 usernames, a new one after being sick of the previous; he now goes by the username of "McCartney," his last name, which he proudly shares with his idol, Paul McCartney.
This 16-year-old, will probably have a happy musical future ahead, no matter what he will do with his music. Once his album is completed, he will have a great time enjoying it, that is a fact.
