Sabir Ali Choudhry,born to Ch.Ghulam Nabi and Imam Bibi at 11 May 1942.Sabir ali belonged to the walled city of Lahore,Pakistan.He belonged to a respected Gujjar family.His mother died ,when he was only 7years old.Soon,he was sent to his aunty to Mureedke,a village near Lahore.There he started his early education. At the age of 17,after passing his matriculation,he came back to Lahore.Then after spending sometime in Lahore,his uncle Ch.Ghulam Rasul(session judge) sent him to Faislabad for his further education.At Faislabad ,he joined ,National college of textile engineering.After getting a Dimploma from there.

He joined MONOO GROUP OF INDUSTIES as a textile engineer.After sometime, he was transfered to Dacca,now in Bangladesh.At the time of falling of Dacca,he was arrested by INDIAN ARMY,along with 90,000 more Pakistanis.After that,he was taken to India along with other pakistanis,by the Indian army.After 2 years,when he was released ,he came back to Lahore.He joined Chakwalgroup of industries as a textile engineer.Then after a period of time, because of his intelligence,and talent, he was promoted on the rank of Director Operations.

Then after sometime he felt that ,he should establish his own business.Soon,he established a textile company,named, MACMOD TEXTILE MACHINERY (pvt)Ltd.Soon,his business started gaining success.Macmod textiles was the first company to re-condition Textile machinery in Pakistan.

But ,after a couple of years,he died of a heart attack at the age of 52.Before his death,he had two bypass operations from St.Anthony hospital,London.Imran Sabir chaudhry and Qussain Sabir Ali chaudhry are his proud sons.

After some years of his death,Due to some reasons,his company was declared as insolvent and was dissolved by the court of law.

He was known for his brilliance and awesome talent in his field,and he was many times awarded for his contributions in the field of textile.His name was mentioned in a textile book of inter-national level,as the second best textile engineer of Pakistan.He was fond of poetry and he, himelf was a poet .

- His Namaz-e-Jinazah,was offered three times at three different places,and approximately 4000men offered the Namaz.
- His name was mentioned in a textile book of inter-national level,as the second best textile engineer of Pakistan.
- He was considered as the Pioneer of Textile industry.
- He also designed and made some Textile Machinery.
- He was the first person to re-condition Textile machinery in Pakistan.
- He was one of the few Pakistani's to be awarded by Japan.
