Saffronization or saffronisation is a political neologism, used refer to an increase in right-wing Hindu nationalist ("Hindutva") policies in India, usually in a pejorative sense, by the country's political left.[1][2][3][4]The name derives from saffron being the political colour used to represent Hindutva.[5]
