What race is sagat?

Well nationality-wise he comes out of Thailand, but he looks pretty anglo in virtually every promo art piece made about him. Could it be possible that he's loosely based on Ramon Dekkers, the first white man that ever won the Muay Thai Fighter of the Year award? Killridemedly 01:15, 26 January 2007 (UTC)

Why a pop culture reference of Sagat was removed?

Because Francois Sagat (see his wiki article) isn't everyman's piece of cake.

That's an awful picture of him right there, he doesn't even look his original Thailand ethnicity, and doesn't even look evil which is what he really is. Please find one that captures his character far better.
