Hello. I am a Master's degree student in the department of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
As a researcher of 'the Wiki', I am most interested in how it may impact discursive regimesof knowledge production around the planet, in or outside of academia. You may find an introductory chapter-in-progress to my Master's thesis on, of all places, my Myspace profile[1]. I am currently residing in New York City where I collaborate with two Computer Science Ph.D students at Columbia University. We are devising ways to extract machine readable semantic data from discursive patterns in Wiki texts.
