Sally J. Clark

Sally J. Clark is a member of the Seattle City Council, appointed to fill the vacant seat formerly occupied by Jim Compton in January 2006. She was elected to a one-year term in November 2006 and is seeking a full four-year term in 2007.
At the time of her appointment, Clark was working for the Lifelong AIDS Alliance. She used to be a legislative aide to former City Councilwoman Tina Podlodowski and current King County Councilmember Bob Ferguson, and was an editor for the Seattle Gay News. She is openly gay.
