Saltash Passage

Saltash Passage is between Plymouth and Cornwall. The River Tamar flows through Saltash passage. There is a pub called the Royal Albert Bridge Inn. Saltash Passage is good fun for children for crabbing especially and fishing.
On the shore of the Tamar, just below the Royal Albert Bridge, was where American and British troops embarked for the D-Day landings of World War II. In 2004 a memorial service in the garden of Saltash Passage commemorated the 60th anniversary of D-Day, in the memorial garden of Saltash Passage.
