[edit] neutrality?
this article appears to contain some personal bias and opinion rather than fact. eg- "Samhain released two full-lengths and one EP during their career. Some criticized their first album for being merely "the Misfits slowed down," despite Samhain's superior musicianship. The fact that Samhain re-recorded a few Misfits songs cemented the idea in some people's minds that Danzig couldn't move past his work with the Misfits. However, as their career progressed, they evolved into their own unique style of lo-fi goth metal and gained a cult following that surpassed that of The Misfits."
3rd paragraph.
Statements made in this paragraph are founded on opinion rather than fact.
- I don't know about the statements about them having a cult following larger than the Misfits (you see a lot more fans of the Misfits than Samhain fans), or if it's NPOV to say they were better, but it's a well-known fact that they did get a lot of bad press when they first came out for supposedly being "the Misfits slowed down." - Currently, there is little question that The Misfits have a much, much larger cult following than Samhain. However, during the peak of Samhain's career, they had assembled a much larger fallowing than The Misfits had at that point in time. It was shortly after Samhain had evolved into Danzig that The Misfits became so immensely popular. So perhaps the statement should be rephrased.
I agree The Misfits hold a way larger following that Samhain
[edit] Covered in Blood
I'm removing this because I remember editing this page about a year ago as an anonymous user putting something about this in, when I just made it up off the top of my head (I had just found out about the site then). There is no proof to it, anyway. --Psycho78m 02:31, 15 December 2005 (UTC)
[edit] A lot of changes
I did a lot of error corrections and things, but I would really like someone else to go in and clean it up. --Psycho78m 07:29, 27 December 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Leather Mask
Glenn Danzig's use of a Demonic S&M styled hood is documented well before the formation of Samhain. There is video footage of him wearing this mask while playing the song "Skulls" with the Misfits. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PefNnWJ6K8w69.251.156.16 01:46, 1 November 2006 (UTC)Octane818
