The Sauk Valley Community College ("SVCC") is a Community College in Dixon, Illinois. Whilst technically in Dixon it is closer to the city limits of Sterling, Illinois.
SVCC was built on a donated corn field bordering the Rock River between the cities of Sterling, Illinois and Dixon, Illinois. The Sauk Valley Community College is located on historic Illinois Route 2, and the college has a student body of about 5,000 full and part-time students each semester.
