This claim that the "Scammonden bridge, the longest single span non-suspension bridge in the world when built". seems very dubious. M62 was built in the 70s. There a number of single span non suspension bridges that are obviously longer an older: Sydney Harbour Bridge, Hell Gate Bridge. It might need to be further qualified, for example it might be the longest concrete arch bridge. Or it needs some citation. Georgipetrov 19:38, 21 December 2006 (UTC)
