The scissortail rasbora is a descriptive term for a number of species freshwater aquarium fish that belongs to the rasbora family. They move their fins like scissors when they swim, hence the name. They are easy to manage, and require a tank 30 gallons or more in size. They tend to nip the tails of other fish and are about an inch and a half long.
