[edit] Evolution
In response to your edit to this article, I would ask you to read the article on vestigial structures, which states:
Vestigial structures are anatomical structures of organisms in a species which are considered to have lost much or all of their original function through evolution.
Note that vestigial structures may therefore still have a function. All that is required is that the structure no longer serves its original function. Your edit to the evolution article didn't reflect this, so I thought I'd alert you. -- Ec5618 09:53, 19 June 2006 (UTC)
