Sport:
In Italian Football, the Seven Sisters refer to the seven largest clubs, traditionally all in Serie A: AC Milan, Internazionale, SS Lazio, Fiorentina, Juventus, Parma AC, AS Roma and traditionally taking up the first seven positions in Serie A. However, since the turn of the century, Parma AC and Fiorentina have suffered financially, and the others bar AS Roma and Internazionale have suffered after the Calciopoli scandel, with Juventus being relegated to Serie B, and the other teams point punishments making it difficult for them to finish in the top 7.
