Severed Savior

Severed Savior are a brutal death metal band, formed in 1997 in Concord, California. They are signed to Unique Leader and catalogued with Century Media Distribution [1] .
The band's musical style utilizes an ultra fast, percussive range of death metal akin to labelmates Deeds of Flesh and Relapse Records' Suffocation. Vocalist Boisjolie sings in a very low, monotonal death grunt in contrast. Previous musicians have included members from other death metal bands on the California Coast, including guitarist Jared Deaver (ex-Impaled, ex-Deeds of Flesh).
After 2 demos and a brief tour with Exhumed and Nevermore [2], the band released their debut album Brutality Is Law in 2003 and would support Cannibal Corpse on a Summer tour the following year. [3]. After appearing at Northwest Death Fest with Sadus and Obiturary in 2006 [4], the group announced songwriting stages for a second studio release, due in 2007.[5]
