Shawn Southwick

Shawn Southwick was born Shawn Engemann in June 1959 in Studio City, California. She was a backup vocalist, model and former host of the television show Hollywood Insider. Shawn is married to Larry King, her third husband and King's sixth wife. She is the mother of three sons (two with King). One former husband was Hollywood publicist and media expert Michael Levine, with whom she had a child.
Southwick is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She married King in an interfaith Mormon/Jewish wedding on September 5, 1997. Her father, Karl Engemann, is an executive in the recording industry and began working with the Osmond Family in the mid-1970's. Consequently, she has been a friend of Marie Osmond, also a Mormon, for over 30 years. Shawn's uncle, Bob Engemann, is an original member of the 1960's trio The Lettermen.
