Shea Weber (born August 14, 1985 in Sicamous, British Columbia) is an National Hockey League defenceman currently playing for the Nashville Predators.
He was drafted by the Predators with the 49th overall pick in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft.
Weber helped Canada win the gold medal at the 2005 World Juniors. He, along with Dion Phaneuf formed the teams' top defence pairing.
Weber has emerged as one of the Predators top defenceman, ranking second among defenceman in points as of December 28, 2006.
