Shri Gurjar kshatriya kadia samaj is one of the Gujarati subcommunity from India. Traditional occupation being of building construction.
Shri Vishwakarma Dada had 5 sons : Manu, Maya, Tvasta, Shilpi and Daivagnya. Manu's son where called Lohana, Tvastana's son where named Kansara, and Daivagnya's son where called Soni.
Shilpi's son where called kadiya. We have such a rich tradition at root. Our forfathers have done so many skilled constructions. They have built houses, palaces, Temples.
In Saurashtra, Kadia samaj people are know for travelling places for work. They where always during era of Moghuls, Maratha or any other king. They where needed to build Mandir & Masjids.

Our pioneering ancestor Shri Vishwakarma Dada had 5 sons : Manu, Maya, Tvasta, Shilpi and Daivajnya. Manu had a son called Lohana, Tvasta's son was Kansara, Daivajnya's son was Soni and Shilpi's son was Kadiya. Ours is a rich and traditional ancestry. Our forefathers were skilled artisans and have excelled in erecting many houses, palaces, Temples. Maya was a contemporary of Shri Krishna, the king of Dwaraka.
