Talk:Sibylline Rock
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
"The Sibylline Rock was the rock at Delphi, on which the Delphic Sibyl, or prophetess, breathed in the vapors from the Castalian Spring and predicted the future. The Sibylline Rock can still be seen today."
No, there is no "Sibylline Rock" at Delphi. There are no "vapors from the Castalian Spring": that was where one stopped to wash ones hands. This little stub is completely bogus. Can we get it deleted, as a start to cleaning up the mess about Sibyls? --Wetman 11:24, 8 February 2006 (UTC)
