Sierra Vista Middle School is a middle school in Irvine, California, serving the northern part of Irvine, including the neighborhood of Northwood It is part of the Irvine Unified School District. It was named a California Distinguished School, and its school mascot is the 'Charger'.

Sierra Vista Middle School's quad is formed by the G (office), H, and I wings of the school forming a hexagonal-shaped open area. Located in an outer perimeter around the school are the square-shaped A, B, C, D, E, and F (Performing Arts) wings. There are no interior hallways at Sierra Vista.
[edit] Music Program
As with all of the other middle schools in Irvine, Sierra Vista has a highly advanced music program, due to the fact that every student is required to take three years of music in elementary school. The program is led by Henry Miller. Twenty students made it into the Southern California Honor Orchestra, including the concertmaster positions of both string and full orchestra held by two of the students of Sierra Vista Middle School. Three students made it into the Southern California Honor Band. Mr.Miller has been teaching at Sierra Vista for four years. Mr. Miller also has a website, which is: [http//sierravistams.org/miller]
