Talk:Silvermine (ECHELON)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The sole contributor to the page, 198.54.202.242, wrote it the article: "I hope that in a future re-write of this article antennae design engineers can comment on the design of the antennae and so throw some light on what they were each used for." I have moved it here for obvious reasons. Nrbelex (talk) 06:54, 26 November 2005 (UTC)
I'm trying to find some more references. There is some information in this The U.S. Intelligence Community, Jeffrey T. Richelson (1989). pp282-283. One of that articles references is Duncan Campbell and Patrick Forbes, "UK's Listening Link to Apartheid," New Statesman, August 1, 1986, pp. 10-11. which may be worth digging up by someone. If the SIGINT station predates US usage then this article probably needs changing from Silvermine (ECHELON) to something like Silvermine (radio station). Secretlondon 11:41, 7 August 2006 (UTC)
