SimCorp is a Danish company that develops and globally markets integrated investment and treasury management software systems, as well as providing analytical models. Their products help customers perform the many tasks needed to stay ahead in today's international financial markets.
SimCorp also offer training through, competence building programs and consulting services giving clients access to SimCorp's expertise in global finance. SimCorp's expertise lie within Finance, IT, and Economics.
SimCorp's customers include banks and central banks, mortgage lenders, portfolio/investment managers, insurance companies, pension funds, mutual funds, securities and commodities brokers, and corporate treasuries.

Founded in 1971 and headquartered in Denmark, SimCorp has subsidiaries throughout the Nordic region as well as in Belgium, Holland, Germany, Switzerland, Great Britain, Hong Kong, Australia, Singapore and the USA. SimCorp has approximately 700 employees, in 11 countries, on 4 continents, and is listed on the OMX Nordic Exchange. SimCorp Ltd, the London office was founded in 1986.

On the 9th November 2006, SimCorp released its financial progress for the first 9 months (30th September), which resulted in €85.8 million of revenue secured so far. The performance was better than expected, meant that expected revenue went up to €125-130 million, compared to the estimation in the 2Q report which estimated revenues at the end of the year to be €120-125 million.

On September 20th 2005, SimCorp acquired a controlling stake in FIX specialist Solutionforge. The acquisition meant that it opened the way for SimCorp to embed Solutionforge's FIX.NET server and FIX.NET trader technology into SimCorp's own investment management software, and this in turn strengthened SimCorp's trading knowledge base.

SimCorp is currently attained at Capability Maturity Model (CMM) certification Level 2. The firm attempts to move onto Level 3 by 2008.
