Was it actually stated that Croc's bounty would've been double, or quadruple his actual bounty, if he was known to be Mr. 0?

What are the chances this guy will get edited by 4kids?
That would depend on what you consider edited. What are the odds he will differ in some way from the original Japanese? 100%
Crocodile is exceedingly evil; I doubt even 4Kids could prevent some of his raw malevolence from seething through into the American interpretation. It's more likely, though, that Luffy will get more edits that Crocodile. -DCD, 30 January 2006 15:00
- I have an issue with saying he's "the longest running primary villain in the series". All in all, Rob Luchi has been fully visible for longer, and has pretty much been around longer then Crco's first "apperance" in Volume 15. Counting Sanji's phone conversation they've both been around for about 8 volumes.

- Lucci's not a "primary villan"; in game terms, Crocodile and Eneru were obviously "bosses" of their respective arcs. Lucci is just one of eight CP9 agents; just because he's the most powerful CP9 agent doesn't mean he's a "primary villan" and the whole arc revolves around him. Terek 18:09, 25 May 2006 (UTC)

- The primary reason for this statement is that he was the behind-the-scenes puppetmaster since the Straw Hats first enetered the Grand Line (wherein they encountered Ms. Wednesday and Mr. 9). He's the main villain of multiple arcs (excluding the Baroque Works agents the Straw Hats were actually fighting), and is even making a return appearance.

It also depend son your opinion of actually running and how it should be measured.
Based on actualy time, you'd need to count how many panels, or how many chapters, they appeared in(physicially) or you could consider it by when the arc first started, or when they were first introduced as an enemy.
If you go by start of the arc, Crocodile ahs been in Whiskey Peak, Little Garden, And Arabasta. Lucci was there for 2 medium-long ones, but wasn't seen until halfway through and wasn't actually an enemy until the end of Water 7. Also there are significant times between Lucci's appearance.
If you are going by when they first become aggressive, one end or the other, I think Mihawk is the longest, but why should he count? he dissapeared for more than 100 episodes of the Anime. If you want, I'd rank Bellamy as the shortest, he was only show in a few Jaya episodes, and overall didn't do very much but get beaten up.

"as well as the first opponent to hand the series' hero, Monkey D. Luffy, a total defeat." - Does Smoker's defeating Luffy count? I would have changed it, but I thought maybe since Smoker didn't defeat Luffy so much as just just clearly overpowered him leaving Luffy no choice but to retreat. Crocodile left Luffy on the verge of death, which is a bit more of a defeat.

- Total Defeat is where a character is beaten up to a point of near-death or incapability of fighting back. Luffy's only suffered three total defeats in the entire series; two to Croc and one to Aokiji. 68.189.82.81 21:44, 11 September 2006 (UTC)
