[edit] Bongo (antelope)
Hi there, the above article is on fac status again. I've really tried to change all the things you commented on. Please can you hgelp with the inline citations as I'm new to this and I can't seem to get that correct? Please can you look it over again? Thanks so much for your help.Black Stripe 01:44, 19 March 2007 (UTC)
- I'll look into it. I can not do it today, but I'll probably add some citations over the week. Slof 01:51, 19 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Christopher Walken page
Slof, thanks for changing the Christopher Walken page. I had wanted to do this for a while but simply haven't had the time. I initially started the notable performances list but changed my mind after Garion directed me to the excellent Dianne Keaton page. The page is now looking much better and I think is ready for the addition of some more unusual stuff from Walken's career. --Panopticon 06:27, 25 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] My apology
I did, however, try to look it up. It does not appear in my print edition of Merriam-Webster, and through that dictionary company turns out to be only available at the subscription-only Merriam-WebsterUnabridged.com. I think we can agree that such an obscure word may not be the clearest form of expression. -- Tenebrae 19:16, 25 July 2006 (UTC)

P.S. You received these suggestions because your name was listed on the SuggestBot request page. If this was in error, sorry about the confusion. -- SuggestBot 12:17, 28 July 2006 (UTC)
[edit] without just cause...
I am glad you included a reference when you reinserted the information; however, your claim that my change is without cause wrong. Please read up on unattributed material, "The burden of evidence lies with the editor who has made the edit in question, and any unsourced material may be removed by any editor." --Trödel 15:22, 21 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] venture bros trimming
You refer to a talk page reason for trimming the article, but I see no such section... --moof 03:06, 15 November 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Houston article
Thank you for your help with the article! Postoak 03:14, 15 December 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks again. The lead looks great. Maybe there is a chance for FA. Postoak 18:52, 17 February 2007 (UTC)
- Are we OK with the population statistics? Postoak 05:19, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
- We are most likely going to have to reference that Census estimate like the Seattle, Boston, etc., articles do. Slof 05:31, 22 February 2007 (UTC)
- Ok, I added all 3 refs in the infobox. The had a problem with the Urban estimate ref. The target page is generated dynamically, so I couldn't get a static url with the stated statistic. Hope that's OK. Postoak 07:14, 22 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned fair use image (Image:MSControls.jpg)
Thanks for uploading Image:MSControls.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image is unlicensed for use on Wikipedia and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable under fair use (see our fair use policy).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Gay Cdn (talk) (Contr.) 23:33, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
- The image was added to the MapleStory article to add clarification to a section since some people asked for it. However, the article has since been revamped and the image is no longer needed. I have no objections to its deletion. Slof 06:59, 7 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] World energy resources and consumption
Could you please have a go at formating the images in a way that keeps them readable? I agree with you that the column format leaves lots to be desired. After several attempts it was the only layout that remotely did what I tried to do, namely make the data accessible.

Thanks for the effort, are you happy with the result? Frank van Mierlo 03:12, 27 January 2007 (UTC)
- Right now, it's simply sufficient. The whole of the pictures take up more area than the text, which usually is the other way around for most featured articles (although that's not what defines them); it would be in this article's best interest to garner more text. - Frankly, no. It goes against the MOS standards. Plus, it leaves a lot of white space on my computer's resolution. Slof 23:38, 27 January 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Wesley Clark
Thanks for the note, I removed the non-notable mention. Staxringold talkcontribs 11:54, 1 February 2007 (UTC)
- Thanks for striking out the comment. Any chance of a support/oppose vote? Staxringold talkcontribs 20:33, 1 February 2007 (UTC)
- Most likely. I have yet to delve too full into the article, but I will read all of it later. Slof 23:14, 1 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Houston, TX
Nice cleanup on Houston refs. I keep forgetting to wikify the dates. Deatonjr 03:53, 8 February 2007 (UTC)
