SnackAmp is a free digital audio player that runs on GNU/Linux, and Microsoft Windows operating systems. The source code for SnackAmp is released under the GNU General Public License. The program is made with Tcl/Tk.
Some SnackAmp features :
- plays mp3, Ogg and Wav
- plays mp3 and ogg streams
- built in Web server to allow remote control of player
- built-in support for LIRC/WinLIRC remote controls
- remote socket interface
- fully integrated media manager, including tag editors
