Socialist movement VPERED

Socialist movement VPERED (Forward, Russian: Социалистическое движение ВПЕРЕД) is a radical left-wing political organisation in Russia. It was founded in 2005 as the split from Socialist Resistance, a Russian group affiliated with the Committee for a Workers International.
VPERED has groups in few cities of the country. In 2006 VPERED was actively involved in campaign against governmental reform of education. The organisation is active inside some "alternative" trade unions, including the All-Russian confederation of Labour and "Defence of Labour".
VPERED publishes a paper under the same name.
