Talk:Software licensing audit
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
This page should be made into a disambiguation page.
"Software audit" can mean one of two things:
- an audit of software use and licencing, the sense given in this article.
- an audit of the internal structure and quality of software

There are a number of things wrong with this description. A few of them are: 1. Although ISO/IEC 19770-1 is an excellent standard for Software Asset Management, it does not discuss "Software licensing audits" 2. This article immediately launches into an inadequate discussion of Software Asset Management rather than sticking to the topic of Software licensing audits 3. The four steps described here are vague, inaccurate, and will not accomplish the desired goal of a successful "Software licensing audit".
And there are several other inadequacies in the article. Would any past contributors be able to explain why they have written this article as they have?
