Someone needs to remove him from the recent deaths list for 27/11/06. As far as I know he isnt dead and im sure that if he had died it would have been widely reported.

What about the rumours of him being homosexual? And also his brother being in jail because of assaulting someone who called Sol gay? Should they be mentioned?
I see your point. But I'm just wondering whether someone's sexuality may be important if a wiki article is meant to feature as their biography? For instance, Simon Hughes (Lib Dem MP) suffered from rumours throughout his career, and was recently outed. His campaign for a seat during the 1983 election was also noted for its homophobia towards Labour candidate Peter Tatchell. Therefore one could make a case for including details about his sexuality in his wiki article. What does everyone else think? Should questions about Sol's sexuality be duly noted? If a prominent footballer does admit being a homosexual, then it is a bold act, and a milestone which should be noted. This, to my knowledge, has not happened since Justin Fashanu did such in 1990. Until some one can work his birth place in to the main article cleanly (as required by the style manual), I'm removing his birth place. He was born in Newham, London. Putting his birth place in Early career does not seem clean to me at all. Trevor1 04:00, 18 March 2006 (UTC)
- Every other living person's biography I've seen on this site includes the birthplace in the first sentence. The Manual of Style only mentions dead people. I would have left it alone, Trevor. If I had broken it, I would have also fixed it.
