Specialised lyceum

Liceum Profilowane is the Polish secondary/high school. They are attended by those who plan to attend university or who do not have any desire to pursue a specialized career (see below).
Polish liceums are attended by people ages from 16 to 19 or 21 (see list below). At their end students are subject to a final exam called matura. The matura is preceded by a traditional ball called studniówka.
There are liceums all over Poland. Polish liceums are divided into several types:
- General Liceum (16-19 years old)
- Specialised Liceum (16-19 years old)
- Supplementary Liceum (18-21 years old)
