Talk:Spider-Man (tokusatsu)

[edit] Comment 1
One thing that confuses me. The trivia at the bottom of this article indicates that this show was the first live action show to feature the hero controlling a giant robot to fight giant enemies. However, Giant Robo was produced in 1967, over 10 years before Spiderman tokusatsu. I want to remove the trivia entry, but I want to make sure I'm not missing something first. Could anyone clarify please? Thanks. - ProfMoriarty
- Giant Robo does have the fact that it's not used to defeat 'giants', but that's taken over by Jumborg Ace which predates Spider-Man anyway. Removing therefore. -- Hidoshi 00:56, 6 March 2006 (UTC)

- Maybe it's not really the first (yet the information on Giant Robo and Jumborg Ace didn't quite clarify wether a costumed hero piloted a giant robot with henge, but this fact is significant because the popularity of the concept led to revival of Super Sentai series, which led to Power Rangers. --RockyMM 13:10, 22 March 2006 (UTC)

Supaidā-Man → Spider-Man (tokusatsu) … Rationale: Per WP:MOS-JA#Romanisation #2, for Japanese words in katakana, use the English spelling if available. The term is a translitelation of English "Spider-Man". --Kusunose 16:37, 10 July 2006 (UTC)

I was wondering if the DVD of the show has English subtitles but I have a strong feeling the answer is no.
Damnn.
