I am currently living in Sheffield (UK). I have a background in mathematics and my interests include literature and philosophy so I may take a look at some articles on those subjects. Then again I may not. My contributions have been a bit random so far.
I am proud to share my birthday with Charlotte Brontë, Queen Elizabeth II, Iggy Pop and Rome. I am not, however, a romantic corgi-loving heroin-addicted empire-builder. So much for horoscopes.

[edit] Articles I have made a significant contribution to
Um… none really. I'm more of a WikiGnome normally.
[edit] To do
Work through Category:Saints and make sure the articles are up to scratch. I came across Saint Telemachus and Saint Metrophanes in my random walk around wikipedia and pretty much every fact stated was wrong. I've got a nasty feeling that quite a few of the others will be just as bad. Progress so far recorded in /saints.
(Two months later) Well I haven't really got off the ground with this one. I'll get round to it someday. Maybe.
[edit] A random article I came across which made me laugh
Heavy metal umlaut - Quote: At one Mötley Crüe performance in Germany, the entire audience started chanting "Mertley Crew-e"
[edit] Quotes I like
The world is a comedy to those that think; a tragedy to those that feel. - Horace Walpole, 1769
Although it is a good thing for Americans to be very American, it is not a very good thing for the English to be semi-American. - J. B. Priestley
I always thought my genitals were the result of some crude practical joke. - Morrissey, 1986
"Sometimes one has to say difficult things, but one ought to say them as simply as one knows how." - G. H. Hardy (a valuable motto for any Wikipedia editor)
