[edit] Excessive story
The story section seems a bit excessive to me. Is it really necessary to describe every single scene? Frankly, it looks to me like fancruft. —Frungi 20:18, 25 December 2006 (UTC)
- Fixed it. I kept the intro paragraph, and mentioned the relationship at the end just because it was stressed alot during the game. If I left anything important out, we can always just bring up an older version of the page and try again. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 72.94.134.103 (talk • contribs) 21:35, December 30, 2006.
- Condensing it again. I remember composing one of the early drafts for the Plot section, and I'm quite a rambler. 72.94.139.103, one gripe I had about your revision is the verb tense you used -- plot summaries for works of fiction should always be phrased in the present tense, so you should avoid constructs like "Spyro must travel throughout each realm" (which is a future tense construct that is typically reserved for promotional summaries, like what you would read in a magazine or on the back of the gamebox). I'm also not a fan of giving away spoilers (such as the Sorceress's true use for the dragon eggs) right away, so I moved that farther down. As an action-platforming game, the focus for Year of the Dragon is on gameplay over story, so much of what was previously described can be more properly addressed under the Gameplay heading. --Stratadrake 01:38, 31 December 2006 (UTC)
- kool, thanks.
