In what way are these books distinct from other DS9 novels? Someone who knows, please add that information to the article. -- Bitt 21:28, 3 January 2006 (UTC)

- The difference is that they form an internally-consistent continuing storyline set after the series. I'll make sure the article clarifies that. Brendan 22:24, 1 February 2006 (UTC)

- Addtionally, all of the books set in the relaunch has "Star Trek Deep Space Nine" in a simple san-serif font on the cover. All previous books, and all newly published books set back during the series run (e.g. 'Hollow Men', which came out in 2005), have the title in the same stylised font as the TV titles.

Does anybody have info on any new books to be released in this series? This page: [1] has some info on upcoming books, but I don't know where he's getting his information from.
- What he says is mostly accurate. As this article indicates, the next book is Fearful Symmetry' by Leanna Morrow, coming out next April. It will be a "flip book" with two narrative strands and two covers. The book(s) following that have not been announced, which is not surprising as they're at least 18 months away. The Mirror Universe DS9 story he mentions is also coming, and may tie into the relaunch indirectly. The Terok Nor series is also still being planned, as is the Sisko Lost Era novel. Walking Wounded, though, has been cancelled. A good source of Trek books information is Psi Phi. Hope this helps. Brendan Moody 21:00, 9 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] The Battle of Betazed
I would add "The Battle of Betazed" to this page. It's not in the "relaunch" series, but it does introduce the character of Elias Vaughn. In a few places in Avatar Book One, it references TBoB.
