Stefen Fangmeier

Stefen Fangmeier (born 9 December 1960 in El Paso, Texas, USA) is a Visual Effects Supervisor of many notable films including Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events, Saving Private Ryan, and Terminator 2: Judgment Day. He has been a Second Unit Director for two films: Dreamcatcher (2003) and Galaxy Quest (1999), and was nominated for visual effects work on Twister, Perfect Storm and Master and Commander. After over 15 years at Industrial Light and Magic, Stefen made the move into feature film directing in 2005.
He made his directorial debut on the film adaptation of Eragon, released in 2006. The film has become an international success grossing more than 250 million dollars worldwide. Stefen is currently considering his next film to helm and is also branching out into commercial directing.
