Stephen Hannock

Stephen Hannock (1951- ) was born in Albany, New York and is a top American landscape painter. His education includes The Albany Academy, Deerfield Academy, Bowdoin College, Hampshire College, Smith College, and Trinity Pawling School. A 2005 article in Fortune Magazine by Andy Serwer calls Hannock "the most accomplished and well-connected painter you've never heard of." Hannock's canvases have appeared in galleries across the United States and his works hang in the most prestigious museums in the country including the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, NY, the Museum of Contemporary Art in San Diego, CA, the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston, MA and the National Museum of American Art in Washington, DC.
