Steve Matchett

Steve Matchett, born December 23, 1962, is currently a commentator for American cable TV station SPEED Channel on its various F1 programs. He is a contributor to and technical editor of F1 Racing magazine. He is also the author of a semi-autobiographical F1 trilogy: Life in the Fast Lane (1995), A Mechanic's Tale (1999) and The Chariot Makers (2004). He worked with the Benetton F1 team from February 1, 1990, through February 13, 1998.
