As a noted writer, famed webmaster, and celebrity personality who has been interviewed by the likes of Tavis Smiley, I would argue this bio page is not in any way eligible for deletion. BronzeWarrior 07:13, 19 January 2006 (UTC)
I would appreciate it if this page would not be deleted. Please put a block on it until the discussion about it's relevance has been resolved. If not I will continue to re-establish it every time it's removed. BronzeWarrior 01:48, 23 January 2006 (UTC)
There is no nomination for deletion. However, I, a fellow editor, pointed out that the wording is more appropriate for a fan magazine than an Encyclopedia article, i.e. words like inauspicious, passive voice, etc.. TheRingess 01:59, 23 January 2006 (UTC)
- Per your suggestion I have rewritten the tone and made it less "fan magazine" in style. BronzeWarrior 02:05, 23 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Cleaning it up.
I'm cleaning this article up a bit. Yeah, just for fun. I know nothing about this guy but the article needs some basic help. :) Colby Peterson 02:06, 23 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Protection
I'm keeping an eye on this page. I'm not going to apply protection at the moment. The page was previously deleted after being marked for deletion. However, only two people commented and it looks like there's been significant work on cleaning up the article since then. While it was originally autobiographical and while the undelete didn't seem to follow Wikipedia custom, it looks likely that this page has grown beyond what triggered the initial speedy delete. I'd ask other editors to please consider that BronzeWarrior is probably acting in good faith and notice that other editors are now helping to maintain this page.
I will be clear, however. I am not at all saying that this page cannot be nominated for deletion. I just think it would perhaps be appropriate to discuss the issues here first and give the current editors a chance to address the concerns. --Yamla 03:20, 23 January 2006 (UTC)
- The help is definitely appreciated. With my initial rewrite and the addition of Colby's fine editing, I hope the entry is now much more in line with Wiki standards. Asalaam alaikum. BronzeWarrior 10:11, 23 January 2006 (UTC)
