From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
You know how sometimes, you wake up and feel completely different than you did yesterday? That happened to me. One day, I realized that Wikipedia no longer interested me. I stayed away for a few weeks before coming back sporadically. I then realized that I was only half-recovered: editing articles was still an enjoyable experience, but I was not at all interested in Wikiprojects, AFD, uploading images, or anything outside the main namespace. Since there's no longer any need to build a reputation, I will no longer be editing as Stilgar135.
I am a longtime fan of anonymous contributors, and believe that they rarely get the respect they deserve. To that end, I'll be editing anonymously from now on, including some heavy, substantial edits. Hopefully, this will show people that anons are vital to Wikipedia. If you want anything about anthropology, amateur wrestling, Fables or any of my other interests worked on, feel free to leave a message at my talk page; I'll check it periodically.

'Did you ever hear tell,"
said Jimmy Farrell,
'of the skulls they have
in the city of Dublin?
White skulls and black skulls
and yellow skulls, and some
with full teeth, and some
haven't only but one,'
and compounded history
in the pan of 'an old Dane,
maybe, was drowned
in the Flood.'
I think I'm becoming a Weberian.
A bunch of stuff I want to do here but probably won't get around to.
In the interest of personalizing this page yet further, here's the standard "last book, last movie, last music" thing:
Last book read on own initiative: The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay by Michael Chabon
Currently reading on own initiative: The Brothers Karamazov by Fyodor Dostoevsky and Off the Books: The Underground Economy of the Urban Poor by Sudhir Alladi Venkatesh
Last movie seen: Casino Royale
Last album obsessed over: The Dirty South by Drive-By Truckers
