Stockholm-Mälaren Region

Stockholm-Mälaren Region is a region in Sweden, centered on the city of Stockholm and the valley of Mälaren. Larger cities outside Greater Stockholm include Uppsala (population: 124,036), Västerås (102,548), Örebro (95,354), Södertälje (59,342) and Eskilstuna (57,867). As of 2004 almost 3 million people lived in this region.
