Stuart Wenn
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Stuart Wenn is an Australian rules football field umpire in the Australian Football League. He has umpired 193 career games in the AFL. [1] [2]
In the first round of the 2007 AFL Season, Wenn came under controversy for awarding a free kick, in the wrong position in a match between the Kangaroos and Collingwood. Shannon Grant from the Kangaroos, was awarded a 50 meter penalty, which should have had him kicking for goal from the goal square instead of 15 meters out. Grant hit the post, resulting in a point, and the kangaroos went on to lose the game by 3 points [3]
