The Suit of Coins is a minor arcana tarot suit.
The Suit of Coins in the minor arcana tarot deck, also called Pentacles or Discs, are parallel to the suit of diamonds in playing cards. They are connected to the classical element of Earth. Pentacles refer to material body or possessions. They are associated with the Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn signs of the Zodiac.
Physical characterisitcs associated with the suit of coins include dark hair and eyes, dark complexion, and sturdy build.
The four suits of minor arcana each contain fourteen cards: ace (one), two through ten, page, knight, queen, and king. The images depicted on the cards themselves usually contain one or more coin displaying a pentagram, or five pointed star.
