In a moment, I'll cut and paste two or three versions of the (currently protected) page Suicide bombing in here so that, by using the page history, editors have the basis of a page to work on, complete with formatting. I'll take a few different versions, and pay no particular attention to which one ends up on top. That's for the people working on this page to sort out. Play nice, people! - What's the point of that? The page history is available to everyone anyway. But if people work on different temp versions, it's hard to reconcile them later. Let's just set a date (e.g. 3 days from now) for the vote on the main dispute and then when it's decided, unprotect the page and move on. --Wik 11:16, Sep 4, 2003 (UTC)
- You can read the page history, Wik, but you can't access the code. So, if you want to craft a new, improved version from the old version (any of the old versions) all you can do is paste in the display text, and then be faced with the tedious task of reinserting every link, every table, every heading, every bit of emphasis by hand. - I was wondering if a division of the article could be done? splitting off the article portions?
- ... Each of the 3 terms could be a article unto themselves .... and a compare with wikilink could be provided on each (of the three concepts) to contrast/compare them ...
- This would (IMO) be a editing toward a goal of provideing information and not taking away from existing information ..
- This could also prevent conflicting information on each concept .... and clarify each concept a bit better ... [i.e., suicide bombing could focus on people who kill themselves (killing others or not), homocide bombing could concentrated on bombers killing others (the article focusing on ppl killin others with bombs, if they die in the attack or not), and the Martyrdom operation could be focused on the holy (?) bombers (martyring themself for thier cause; or being a "human bomb" (like mention in the other page's talk))]....
