Sun Simiao

Sūn Sīmiǎo (孫思邈 in simplified Chinese, 孫思邈 in traditional Chinese) (581-682 CE) is a famous traditional Chinese medicine doctor of the Sui and Tang dynasty. He is titled as 药王 Yàowáng King of Medicine in history for his significant contributions to Chinese medicine and generous love to patients.
He left two milestone Chinese medicine books his 備急千金要方 Bèijí Qiān Jīn Yào Fāng (Essential Formulas for Emergencies [Worth] a Thousand Pieces of Gold) and Qian Jin Yi Fang (Supplement to the Formulas of a thousand gold worth).
