Supetar

Supetar (Italian: San Pietro di Brazza) is the largest town on the north side of the Dalmatian island of Brač located in the Adriatic Sea. Supetar takes its name from Saint Peter, which is the name's English translation. The official language is Croatian, however most inhabitants also speak English, Italian and German. Supetar is accessible via 45 minute ferry from the mainland city of Split. It currently is the capital of the island, the older one having been Nerezisca.
