[edit] Street Fighter II
This article says that Super Street Fighter II Turbo Revival is the most recent canoncal Street Fighter II. But what about Hyper Street Fighter II? That game was only released with the Anniversary Collection, which came out in 2004. So is Hyper Street Fighter II the most recent canon?
[edit] Goof up in "SSF2T Revival"?
Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo Revival seems to have a little goof-up. In this game Bison's victory-boast is "Only handsome warriors win fights" instead of the better known "Anyone who opposes me shall be destroyed". Is this in deed a goof (Bison is Vega in Japan) or an intentional in-joke and should it be mentioned here?

[edit] Infobox
Due to this game coming out with multiple names, listing all the releases in the infobox is a bit tricky. Let me know if I made any mistakes or if it could be made to look better. MrLeo 00:56, 25 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] About SF2
Hyper Street Fighter 2 is just a compilation, there's nothing new on it,Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo Revival retells SF2 history,so it's considered from the canon. And about the "Goof Up", it was a error in translation, this win quote is originally Vega's (claw), so , they made it to all the characters that haves they name changed, for a example: Vega(claw) now says: -"My fists have your blood on then" It is from Balrog(boxer) , Vega's(claw) name in Japan is Balrog. I think should have figured it out already.^_^ YOU MUST DEFEAT SHENG LONG TO STAND A CHANCE-says Ryu 15:00, 28 February 2007 (UTC)
- Meh. Neither game added anything to the gameplay, although Hyper had more added features. Revival was just a reworked Super port for GBA and not very revelant, not to mention it somehow managed to be worse than the B&W Game Boy port of SF2, while Hyper was just an extension of "Deluxe Vs. Mode" in Street Fighter Collection 2. At least Hyper was released in Japanese arcades. Jonny2x4 05:35, 5 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Needs major cleanup
I did some major editing of this article, but it needs a lot more work. There's a large amount of duplicated information that should be cleaned out. It looks as though the list versions were there first, but I know full prose is preferred here. I'm not sure which version to remove, but a game like this (where the Turbo version is STILL played competitively today) deserves something a little cleaner. -Jacquismo 22:23, 9 March 2007 (UTC)
