Syrian Arabic

Syrian Arabic is the variety of Arabic spoken in Syria. Syria has two major dialectal zones: Central Syrian is spoken from Damascus to Hama, while Northern Syrian is spoken in the Aleppo region. These are both members of the Levantine group of dialects.
