T'anach

The T'anach region (also known as T'anachim; Hebrew: חבל תענך, תענכים) is an area to the south of Jezreel Valley, Israel. The area is called after the ancient city of Ta`anakh. In the 1950's, the area was settled by Jewish immigrants (Olim) from Morocco, Tunisia, Kurdistan, and Poland.
