"Tadoritsuku Basho / Okizarisu" is High and Mighty Color's ninth single under the SME Records label, nearly three months since their single Enrai ~Tooku ni Aru Akari~ was released. The single was released on January 24, 2007 in two different formats, CD only and CD+DVD.

"Tadoritsuku Basho / Okizarisu" is the ninth single released by the Japanese band High and Mighty Color, and their first single release of the year 2007. "Tadoritsuku Basho", the first song on the single, was featured as the theme song of the movie "Anata wo Wasurenai"(貴方を忘れない), a movie which feature's High and Mighty Color's very own vocalist, Maakii. The second song "Okizarisu" was featured as an insert song for the previously mentioned movie. This single is also their first single to be released in two formats, CD only and CD+DVD, and their first double a-side single.

Despite the tie-in with the movie, "Tadoritsuku Basho / Okizarisu" has become High and Mighty Color's poorest selling single^[1].

"Tadoritsuku Basho / Okizarisu" marks the first time that High and Mighty Color has released two music videos with their single. "Okizarisu" was released first, with "Tadoritsuku Basho" being released one day after the first. "Okizarisu" was filmed by Hiroto Fujiyasu^[2], and "Tadoritsuku Basho" was filmed by Yūsuke Takuno^[2].
